It was a fantastic experience! the room came with a private bathroom, which was a nice touch. the location is pretty secluded, but it's right next to a beautifully maintained garden, plus it's close to a taxi service, the ocean, and the jungle. 🌿.

Had such wonderful stay out of town, the staff were great, location was great in a beautiful setting. The provided breakfast was hearty with beautiful views. An electric kettle, a refrigerator, and an iron/ironing board inside the budget king room were handy.

I have to say that this hotel has exceeded my expectations. Up on the hill, this hotel is super close to nature and boasts of amazing hotel facilities. The pool was a pleasant surprise, and the surrounding grounds and jungle were breathtaking. The breakfast provided was impressive, and I couldn't help but feel satisfied with the quantity and quality of food provided. We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming inn in Costa Rica. the owner truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the breakfast, provided by the owner, was absolutely fantastic. We indulged in delicious toast, eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, and bottomless coffee. the house was incredibly comfortable and had a lovely colonial-style ambiance. the grounds surrounding the inn were stunningly beautiful, with trees bearing ripe grapefruit, mandarins, and star fruit. We also enjoyed the company of the friendly cats and dogs on the premises. To all this, the owner was a wealth of information about the area, providing us with valuable insights and recommendations. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like 😊.

As a solo traveler, I wanted a peaceful and unique experience outside of the tourist hotspot. The spacious house at Jodokus Inn offers breathtaking views of the ocean and jungle, with a well-cared-for garden. Waking up to the sounds of animals and the ocean was a true paradise. The host, Ype, goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort, providing fresh fruits, a fridge with breakfast supplies. The well-equipped kitchen, terrace with ocean views, and clean rooms and bathrooms made my stay here a highlight of my trip.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The staff at Jodokus Inn went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great stay. Despite arriving late, they took the time to show me around the town and make me feel welcomed. The intimate atmosphere of the inn made it feel more like staying in someone's house than a hotel. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful ambiance. I highly recommend this place for a unique and enjoyable experience.

the property is beautiful with stunning views of the jungle and well-kept gardens. We also enjoyed being able to pick our own fruit and having access to a large, well-equipped kitchen for cooking our own meals.
Although the location was great, it did require quite a bit of walking to get into town. transportation options were limited and pricey.

This accommodation is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by nature. The communal areas and kitchen are well-equipped and clean. The breakfast offers fresh fruits, toast, eggs, and bacon, which is a great way to start the day. the host and his dogs are friendly and helpful.
It is quite far from the main town, making it difficult to walk, especially for unfit or elderly people. Taking a taxi is necessary if you don't have a car.
